Korean women are known to use real rice bran instead of a soap. They use Rice Water to wash their face and use rice-based skin care routine to give that glassy look.
How Rice is beneficial for skin!!
#1 Rich is vitamin E and great antioxidant
Rice is rich in Vitamin E and a great antioxidant. Vitamin E protects the skin from free radical damage and it may be the perfect solution to get rid of acne. It also helps reducing wrinkles and to restore skin elasticity
Rice contains Peptide. When collagen breaks down, short segments of amino acids are formed. These are the tiny proteins and active molecules known as peptides. Peptides in skin care can provide significant anti-aging benefits.
Ceramides are fats that provide protection to skin against pollution and help skin retain moisture. Without the proper ratio of ceramides, the skin’s barrier can become compromised, leading to dryness, itching and irritation. Rice is rich in Ceramide.

Take ½ a cup of rice and blend away. Make sure it is not a fine powder, we need granules. Take half a lemon and either squeeze it or dip the lemon wedge in the rice flour and gently rub it on to the affected area.
For acne prone skin, you need little honey in your life. Add 1 tbsp of honey to the rice flour and mix it well. Apply the mixer to the affected area.
Give gentle massage and wash with warm or cold water.
Rice Face Mask
Wash rice properly and cook. After the rice is cooked, strain the rice. Keep the starch separately, do not throw it. To the cooked rice add milk and mix it until it forms a smooth paste and lastly add 1 tsp of honey and mix well. Clean your face thoroughly and apply the thick layer of mixer to the face.
Let it settle for 20-30 mins and wash it with the cold water.
The left-over rice starch can be used as a toner. After removing the mask, apply the starch evenly on the facing with the help of cotton. It gives the shine to the face.
